Andrew Baxter
Andrew joined ConChord in the year 2000 and is a very welcome addition to the band. Having studied music at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, Andrew is at home playing all styles of music and has played with the BBC Big Band & Jools Holland as well as the Halle and BBC Philharmonic orchestras. Like his brother Phil, in our trombone section, his profession is teaching music.

Jo Garrard
Jo loves playing in ConChord, for the music and for the great talents and personalities in the band. When not blowing her own trumpet, both in ConChord and the function band she co-runs with her husband Phil, she likes nothing better than getting away from it all on her bike (whilst trying not to fall off!), enjoying good food (and drink!), and listening to all kinds of music from the latest to the very oldest sounds. She and Phil have a young son, Matthew who they hope will take to music too!

Phil Garrard
Phil is a civil servant living with wife Jo in Crawley. He studied music at the London College of Music, playing mostly orchestral music, but would take the opportunity to play with a big band whenever the chance arose! He has been with ConChord now for many years and enjoys his playing more than ever. He was introduced to the band after a chance meeting with his old music teacher from school - Roger Hind - who is the band's pianist!

Rachel Webbe
Rachel studied Music at Bath Spa University College and a few years after graduating, was beginning to wonder what she was going to do about joining an orchestra or band. Rachel fell into playing with Conchord through working with Phil - when the band needed a dep for a while Phil knew just the girl for the job! When a permanent place with the band came up Rachel leapt at the opportunity of sticking around. As well as being a member of the glamorous Trumpet section, Rachel is also part of Conchord's answer to the Andrew's Sisters.
